If you are lucky enough to make it to this place, congratulations! 1. This house is the most well-built place I have ever seen. It is literally built into the rock-side of a mountain, complete with a waterfall that goes down to a coy pond, unparalleled views, and a private beach.

“Outstanding experience from start to finish.”
Clean, modern, picturesque villa, within a few steps to what felt like a private beach. The team arranged everything to come to us - Muay Thai, massages, cocktails, bbq, breakfast, transfers, and more. So many little touches which made our stay so special and we cannot thank the Mai and her beautiful team enough. We will be back!!!

This house is the most well-built place I have ever seen. It is literally built into the rock-side of a mountain, complete with a waterfall that goes down to a coy pond, unparalleled views, and a private beach. The builders/owner thought of every detail to make your stay a comfortable and unforgettable one. The staff is unbelievably kind and attentive. They go out of their way to make sure you experience the stay of a lifetime. Particularly, Mai manages everything expertly and to your liking, along with the help of her assistant Katip. None of us in our large group had ever eaten better food than that cooked by our personal chef, Lek. Every night we gave him a standing ovation. Thai food will never be the same for me, let alone any food, for that matter. I am eternally grateful to the entire group for providing us with a magical journey, a transformational one that will follow me home.

“Truly magnificent in every way.”
The View Samui Cliffside is a magnificent piece of work and, as the name suggests, the view is nothing short of spectacular. Uniquely, every single room from the main villa is afforded the luxury of these heavenly views. The sunsets are divine! The villa itself is an architectural masterpiece. Blending into its surroundings, the design keeps many of the natural elements such as stones which have been built around and remain as part of the design aspect. On the backside/inside of the villa, there even is a relaxing water element (waterfall), running down the side of the hill. Just Wow! There are generous amounts of space throughout this modern style villa offering families or groups of friends many different areas of which to enjoy their personal space or a larger gathering. There are a couple beautiful, well-appointed guest rooms separated from the main house for those who need a little more privacy and, for the kiddos, a children-friendly room (detached from the main house) with 6 bunk beds! How fun!
All in all, our stay at The View Samui Cliffside was perfect. The staff were attentive, the children had a blast, the adults had even more fun. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect holiday. So grateful to have been introduced to this villa from The Luxe Nomad! Highly recommended. 5 stars!
P.s. The villa also has its own little private beach!

“The View lives up its name!”
Having booked the villa through Luxe Nomad, you quickly understand why this villa is called the View. Nearly every room in the house has a breathtaking, surrounding view of the ocean. It's really second to none. The layout is modern, extremely spacious, and its nestled alongside the mountain with protruding large rocks integrated into this architecturally-focused home. There are also separate private guest houses, one of them holding fun bunk beds for the kiddos and situated alongside the curated path towards the beach... which is another interesting feature as this villa has both beach and cliffside views (rare commodity). Overall, this place comes recommend and guaranteed to have fun with small or large groups alike -- its the ideal getaway to take a moment with your picture-perfect views.

“Perfect in every way for a family holiday.”
I am at a loss for words following my stay at The View – the photo’s did not do justice to the beautiful location and the kind and attentive service of Opal and her staff for the whole week we stayed. The setting was breathtaking – with incomparable uninterrupted views looking straight out to sea The rooms beautifully decorated with amazing open air showers and baths behind the main bedrooms We opted for using the in house chef most days and found the food to be of a far better standard than any of the restaurants we visited on the Island This was without a doubt one of the few occasions we found the villa and the personal service provided by the attentive staff beyond our expectations Thank you Opal and your team for all the time you spent looking after us - we look forward to seeing you next time

“Magnificent Villa — we will definitely be back.”
We are couple with 3 'children' in their early 20's. We travelled from New Zealand and stayed 8 nights at the aptly-named "The View" in Samui. We had a superb stay. We lived in Asia for over 12 years and know exactly what top-end accommodation looks like in the Asian region - the View is right up there with the best. The house itself is beautifully appointed with every room having glorious sea views.
The pool area works well and the grassed area provided many fun hours of croquet, petanque etc. The beach is only a few short steps away. Khun Opal and her team at the View were exemplary - they could not have been more helpful. And the food!! This is home Thai cooking at its very best. The only downside of our stay was that we had to leave!!!
